Google has launched a new app for AdWords Express, the product designed to simplify search advertising for small businesses. In addition, Google is giving those advertisers better geotargeting to let them choose where their ads appear.
The free app, available now for Android and iOS users in the U.S., offers all the features of the web version AdWords Express, which received a substantial redesign in May. Advertisers can edit or create new ads, select their audience, and set a budget – then Google will manage the rest.
When it comes to selecting a target audience, Google has given AdWords Express advertisers more control to target by location, specifically ZIP code, city, state, or certain parts of a country (but only in English-speaking countries where AdWords Express is available).
AdWords Express debuted three years ago. You can learn more about it here.
