Google now shows Google Translate directly in AI Overviews

Google is now showing its Translate tool directly within AI Overviews, a change that could reduce clicks to third-party translation websites.

Google is now showing the Google Translate feature directly within AI Overviews. A few days ago, when I searched for something related to Google Translate, I didn’t see this. But today, when I searched for a translation, Google showed the Translate tool directly inside the AI Overview. This feels new.

This doesn’t seem like great news for third-party websites that offer translation tools, since users may no longer need to leave Google to get a translation. Google did something similar previously with emoji lookups, and now it looks like translation may be getting the same treatment.
