Google has launched three new features for travel planning and booking within AI Mode. Google shared these updates through a blog post.
Here are the new features Google has added to AI Mode for travel planning:
1. Flight price tracking in AI Mode
Google Flights’ price tracking feature is now available directly within AI Mode as well.
Here is how this feature will work.
2. Checking points and miles for flights and hotels
AI Mode can now also inform users how many points or miles will be required to book flights and hotels.
Here is how this feature will work.
3. Hotel booking in AI Mode
Users can now not only discover hotels but also start the booking process directly within AI Mode.
Here is how this feature will work.
These updates bring more of the travel planning and booking experience directly into AI Mode, reducing the need for users to bounce between Google Flights, hotel sites, and AI Mode separately when planning a trip.

“(1/2) Travel planning just got easier (and more fun) with new upgrades to AI Mode in Search. Now, AI Mode doesn’t just suggest hotels — it actually helps you book them. Describe what you’re looking for, compare options, and book your room in a few taps with @GooglePay. Rolling out now in the US! ✈️”

“I’m big into optimizing my airline miles and using them at the right time, so I’m excited about today’s launch, where we’re making that much easier in Search! You can now pull up the live cost in points or miles for flights and hotels directly in AI Mode. Describe what you’re looking for (and the rewards program you have in mind) to see real-time rates directly from our partners. Once you find the option you want, AI Mode links you straight to the airline/hotel site to complete the booking.”
