Google AI Mode now showing four ads at the bottom

Google AI Mode is now showing four ads at the bottom of the page. We recently covered AI Mode showing three ads at the bottom instead of the usual two, and now I am seeing four in a row.

It feels like Google wants to show more ads in AI Mode. In recent days, Google has tested several other changes to how ads appear there, such as a “Sponsored” heading above sponsored products and an “All products” heading above organic products. Four ads in a row looks like another step in that direction.
