ChatGPT tests new labels on organic product results

ChatGPT is testing new labels on organic product results, including a green 'Best all-rounder' tag and grey labels for other criteria.

ChatGPT is now showing labels on organic product results, such as “Best all-rounder,” “Best for beginners,” “Best cushioning,” and more.

This was first spotted by Brodie Clark, who shared it on X and the SERP timeline.

He wrote: “ChatGPT is testing out a new variation of the labels that can be displayed for organic products in its results. Expanding upon the original version, the new experiment is displaying a green label for the ‘best all-rounder’ product and also additional grey labels for the ‘best’ for different criteria.”

Here is a screenshot he shared of this.

This looks like a strong addition for organic results. If these product labels are worded accurately and clearly, they could help build user trust and potentially increase clicks and conversions for the products featured.
