Bing is now testing sponsored results within its AI Overview/Copilot results. This is the first time we’ve seen sponsored results appear directly within Bing’s Copilot results.
Adding sponsored results to an AI Overview could be a meaningful step for Bing’s monetization strategy. When Google first launched its own AI Overview, it initially showed just the AI-generated summary without ads sponsored results were added only several months later.
Here is how it looks.

Updated Sep 1, 2026: As I saw today on my own PC, Bing has expanded ads in Copilot. I saw more examples; here is another screenshot I took.
