Radu Tyrsina
Radu Tyrsina is a media entrepreneur and the owner and publisher of Search Engine Watch.
He began his career as a technology writer, covering the rapid rise of mobile devices, operating systems, and digital platforms. His reporting established early industry authority and was referenced by Politico, WIRED, the BBC, The Guardian, and many other leading publications.
In 2012, Radu founded Windows Report, growing it from an independent technology website into the foundation of Reflector Media. Over the following decade, he built and acquired a robust portfolio of established digital publications across the technology and software sectors.
Following his exit from Reflector Media, Radu made a strategic pivot to focus exclusively on Search Engine Watch. For him, the publication represents far more than another media investment. Having documented search before Google even existed, Search Engine Watch helped chronicle the development of SEO and search marketing as professional industries.
His objective today is to respect that legacy while rebuilding the platform for the next era of digital discovery, one shaped by artificial intelligence, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and a renewed demand for independent, genuinely useful reporting.
“Search Engine Watch already has a history that cannot be recreated. My responsibility is to build a future worthy of it.”
