Google Street View Live & Slightly Blurry in Germany

Because German privacy law forbids dissemination of photos of people or their property without their consent, Google gave German citizens the ability to opt out of the service before it even debuted. In total so far, more than 244,000 Germans have demanded images of their homes to be blurred. People can also request removal of their homes at any point in the country.
