Lawsuit Filed in IAC/Ask Jeeves Acquisition
Are legal issues going to cause problems for the IAC/Ask Jeeves deal?
The New York Post reports that an Ask Jeeves shareholder has filed a lawsuit in Deleware saying that AJ execs did not get a fair price for the company.
Ask Jeeves shareholder Richard Wiltsie said in a suit filed yesterday in Delaware Chancery Court that company directors agreed to the deal “without fulfilling their most basic obligation to conduct a full and fair sale process” to get the best price.
