Brave Search is displaying a large pop-up on its search results page urging users to download Brave Browser. The prompt appears in the top-right corner and uses a privacy-focused pitch to persuade users to switch browsers.
The prompt reads, “Brave’s already got your back on search. Why not make everything else you do on the Web more private?” It includes a “Get Brave” button and a “Maybe later” option.

We recently reported that Brave was promoting its browser through a smaller banner at the bottom of search results when users set Brave Search as the default search engine in Chrome. This larger pop-up takes up more of the screen and makes the pitch harder to miss.
Google recently added Brave Search to Chrome’s list of available search engines, giving Brave another way to reach Chrome users. Brave is using that opportunity to pitch its browser to people who already use its search engine, urging them to bring that privacy to the rest of their web activity.
