Mike Grehan
Mike Grehan is a futurist, SEO pioneer, author, world traveler and keynote speaker, and a former publisher of Search Engine Watch.
Online since 1995, he ran Search Engine Watch and its sister title ClickZ as group publishing director at Incisive Media, and produced SES Conference & Expo, the industry's largest search and social marketing event. He was chairman of SEMPO, the largest global trade association for search marketers.
His agency career spans managing director for Europe at iProspect, vice president of international business development at Bruce Clay, two spells at Acronym in New York, latterly as CMO and managing director, and SVP corporate communications at NP Digital. He is now chief executive officer of Chelsea Digital, a boutique digital marketing agency in New York.
He has written numerous books and white papers on search marketing, and is known in the industry for the access he was given to interview the major search engines on how they actually work.
He wrote for Search Engine Watch between 2004 and 2012, covering search strategy, the economics of the SEO business and the industry's conference circuit.
Before he found a proper job, he was a popular radio DJ in the UK. He is on LinkedIn.
