Google Analytics Now Available for iOS

You can now download the official Google Analytics app for iPhone and iPod Touch. While the Android version of this app has been available for some time, this is the first release for iOS. The app has all the GA features you're used to seeing.

It’s finally here! You can now download the official Google Analytics app for iPhone and iPod Touch. While the Android version of this app has been available for some time, this is the first release for iOS.

The Details

Google’s new app is compatible with the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. However, it is optimized for the iPhone 5. It requires that the device run on iOS 6.0 or later.

Features

With the new Google Analytics App you’ll find many of the features that you’re used to seeing such as visits, sources, page views, etc. However, according to TechCrunch, users will also have access to Real Time reports. This access will allow for monitoring of data as it is taking place.

Webmasters will no longer have to wait until they are near their desktop to view information. It is now available at their fingertips on the device they spend most of their time absorbed with.

When I downloaded the app and linked my accounts, I ran into some immediate issues. I added my accounts successfully but received an error message that said “There was an error while trying to retrieve Google Analytics accounts for [email address]”. I’m not quite sure why I’ve received this error or how to correct it.
