Google is showing a new “People also search for” section in the Short videos tab, featuring four clickable keyword suggestions that generate new searches within the same tab.

Google is testing a “People also search for” section in the Short videos tab. It shows four keywords. When a user clicks one, a new query is generated within the same tab. I hadn’t seen this feature in this tab before. Until now, it only showed short videos.

My assumption is that Google wants users who open this tab to stay there. With related keywords on hand, they can keep exploring new queries without leaving the Short videos tab. That is only my guess, and Google hasn’t said why it is testing this.
