"Once arrogant Google" is to offer a university search service for China, says People’s Daily
Online. It’s the first time Google’s said to offer a specialty service for those in China. Well, they’ve long offered a Chinese interface (and
now have actual domains). I suppose censoring
news results for China was kind of specialized as well. But a publication apparently dedicated to bringing
the latest news dispatches for the Chinese government might not mention that. Where is the Google China University search at? An English version of university searches is
here, and I’m guessing what this release is talking about may be
here.
