As part of Microsoft's partnership with Nokia, Bing has added thousands of "Venues" to its mapping offerings to help users in North America, Europe, and Asia find and navigate shopping malls, airports, convention centers, museums, parks, racecourses, racetracks, and stadiums.

The feature will also find the closest services and facilities like restrooms, food, and ATMs in these venues, and users will be able to browse their directories if they wish.

The new Venues feature is available through Bing Maps and can be viewed by zooming into and hovering over a venue on a map, which will then enter you into the "experience". The image above presents an example of what the Westfield shopping center in London looks like.

On Tuesday, Microsoftt added a massive 165TB of new imagery to its Bing Maps service, which it said was "the largest satellite release to date", Bing said in a blog post.

The release was larger than all of its past aerial photography releases combined and featured nearly 38 million square kilometres of imagery across North America, South America, Africa, Australia, Europe, and Asia.
