Those wild and crazy folks at Unruly are at it again. A week ago, they announced the top 20 Global Social Video Ads Chart of 2011 in partnership with Mashable. And now Unruly has unveiled Viral Spiral, an infographic that shows the most shared video ads from 2006 to 2011.
Yes, yes, I know that Unruly is one of the world’s leading exponents of social video advertising. But don’t their employees deserve a little time off over the holidays? At the very least, Unruly should give its blogger outreach staff an extra shovel-full of coal for the fire.
Nevertheless, the infographic visualizes the most-shared ads over the past six years and tracks in real time the number of shares on Facebook, Twitter and the blogosphere. I think it also charts the evolution from viral videos that only Frat Boys might share with their college buddies to branded videos that both men and women can prudently share with their family, friends, and colleagues.
