A Recommended Reading List for Info Retrieval Geeks

If your a search and information retrieval geek, an article in the just online issue of SIGIR Forum has a great annotated bibliography that you’ll want to take a look at. It’s titled, “Recommended Reading for IR Research Students” and is a 12 page pdf. The reading list/bibliography was edited by three highly respected academics involved in IR research from Australia:
+ Alistar Moffat, University of Melbourne
+ Justin Zobel, RMIT University
+ David Hawking, CSIRO
Dr. Hawking is also a developer of the P@noptic enterprise search technology.
