It’s only a matter of weeks before the industry’s thought leaders and top practitioners converge on Chicago for our annual Midwest online marketing bonanza.
As many thousands of past attendees are aware, getting to meet the expert speakers for some one-on-one time is one of the most valuable elements of the conference. So now we’ve made it even easier.
Sure, you can frequently meet some of the speakers and best-selling authors at lunch or at the bar in the evening. But what if you were already on first name terms with them before that happened?
The New Meet the Experts Sessions
That’s why we’ve developed our brand new “Meet the Expert” sessions. Just take a look at Day 1, for instance, and see the fabulous lineup of speakers, practitioners, and best-selling authors breaking out into roundtables ready to meet, greet, and answer your questions personally and in full (also note how by design this session rolls perfectly into the networking cocktail reception).
You can do the whole table-hopping thing. Eighteen different topics on the go at 18 tables at any one time and you just pick and choose as you wish.
And there’s another session again on Day 2 with yet more of the same face-to-face talk on current topics and tactics (notice how, once again by design, this session rolls perfectly into a networking lunch).
Day 3 takes a slightly different approach and puts top names in the industry under the spotlight. These sessions are designed to get right down to the absolute nitty-gritty of online marketing.
Each presenter is a subject-matter-expert. And each will drill down to the core elements of what makes online marketing successful. These never seen before presentations are created specifically for SES Spotlight.
Audience Choice
Not only do we put our heads together at SES HQ in New York to work on bringing the best speakers and the best content to the show, we even ask our audience what they think would add a bit more in-depth information. SES Chicago has two audience-choice sessions.
Signed, Sealed, Delivered: Selling Inbound Marketing was suggested by Steve Sasman of Sycara who wins travel, accommodation and a full conference pass (yes, and shhhh… a link!).
Same goes to Ashley Kennedy of Amplify Interactive for coming up with the idea for How to Show Your Wins at Search Marketing With Web Analytics. Both sessions submitted in our pre-show competition and selected by the SES community.
More Reasons Why You Should Attend SES Chicago
SES Advisory Board members are totally proactive when it comes to each show and demonstrate this by “adopting” specific sessions and putting their own special touch to them. Check these sessions from Chris Boggs and Bryan Eisenberg for examples.
Also making a splash all over the show this year is the one and only Mikel Chertudi, senior director of marketing with Adobe and SES Advisory Board member. Not only will he provide us with one of his renowned keynote presentations, you’ll find him here and here. Mikel is one of the top minds in the industry so be sure to get to all of his sessions.
If you’re new to the industry (and many, many attendees to SES are), then this session is a must for you. Legendary Internet marketing guru Dr. Ralph Wilson has been helping to educate online marketers since he came online back in 1995. And he’s been delighting the SES audience with his kick-out-the-jargon, no nonsense, sleeves rolled up approach to his Introduction to Search Engine Marketing session for a couple of years now.
With our now infamous Black Hat, White Hat session, parties, and various impromptu get-togethers, you’ll be in perfect company for three whole days of education and networking.
Finally, don’t forget that you can also enroll for our industry leading SES Training (now known as ClickZ Academy).
BTW – Don’t let anyone know I told you this… The early bird pricing is finished. But if you go online now and purchase an Expo pass for only $25… I guarantee someone will send you a 20 percent off a full conference pass coupon. ;-)
