Case Study On Clickfraud Refund
Eight Months
of Click Fraud in Oregon from ClickZ is a short case study on a
merchant discovering $200-$300 in what he felt were fraudulent clicks over
an eight month period. Overture issued a 95 percent refund after
documentation was provided. Google contested some of the charge
allegations and only refunded 50 percent. FYI, clickfraud detection and
prevention is the topic of our
Auditing Paid Listings & Clickfraud Issues panel at Search Engine
Strategies Chicago this week. And for more on the topic, see also my past
