Google Local Pulls More Than Froogle

Interesting interview from Fortune, Google: Going Beyond the Web, where Google surprisingly
says that its Google Local service was getting more page views than its Froogle shopping search service, even before the recent
placement of Google Local on the home page. Also some comments from director of consumer web products
Marissa Mayer (who I agree deserves a much better title) on the long-term “moonshot” project of
Google Print. Thanks to Search Engine Guide for the
tip.
