Directories Still Have Value To Search Marketers

Directories have diminished in importance, given how the major search engines have abandoned them, as I’ve
about in the past. But in Directories: Love ’em or Leave ’em from Search Engine Guide,
David Wallace takes another look from a search marketer’s perspective about why you might not want to scratch them off the list entirely. Sure, they aren’t giant traffic
generators any more — but they do send noticeable traffic. Plus, they remain important links to the crawlers. He concludes with a few major free directories you can submit to
