Warning! The World In Google Maps May Be Bigger Than You Think

Just because I’m feeling kind of punchy, does anyone else think it’s odd that
you can convince Google Maps that the world is three times larger than reality?
I mean, look at
this.
I’ve zoomed out as far as you can go, treating me to a world where the
continents are repeated three times. MSN Virtual Earth is smart enough
not
to do that. Shouldn’t Google be able to do the same? I dunno, it just irks me
for some reason. FYI, from what I can see, Yahoo Maps (at least in the US) only
lets you zoom out to see all the continental US.
