I’m almost through with the planning and preparation for our
SES NY 2006 event that
happens later this month. I’ll be giving some highlights of all the fun things
and cool new sessions we’ll be having here and on the
SES Blog shortly (the
official SES
NY 2006 party thread just went up). But I did want to pass along that the
registration team tells me the primary conference hotel, the New York Hilton,
has now sold out of rooms. Rooms at the nearby Sheraton are available at
the discounted conference rate, and more details are
here.
People often wait to sign up for the conference around the time when the early
bird discount expires, which is Feb. 15 (more info
here).
If you wait until then to book your room, you might find nearby ones have
already gone. The show is well on track to be even bigger than last year’s
record breaking monster event, so if you’re thinking of going, get that room
reservation down now, to be near the action.
