Arabic Language Search Engine ETA Q4 2006 reports on plans to building an Arabic language search engine called “Sawafi” by the end of this year. This will be reportedly the first search engine (non-directory) to search the web, for Arabic content. They believe that adding this search engine will not boost Arab internet usage and increase the Arabic online advertising market to $150 million in 2008 from $10 million, as of today.
