One of the big reasons marketers go to trade shows is to see new products. Well, Jamie O’Donnell of SEO-PR visited the expo hall at SES New York 2010. Here’s some of what he saw.

ODonnell interviewed Liz Fishbeck of Facebook, an exhibitor at SES New York 2010. She was promoting Facebook’s new self-service ad unit.
By visiting www.facebook.com/ads/create you will find the targeting interface where you can create your first Facebook ad. Facebook also offers a new resource, called the Facebook ads page (www.facebook.com/facebookads). It features case studies, best practices, and updated with tips every week.
ODonnell also interviewed Michael Stebbins, CEO and founder of Market Motive. Stebbins talked about the teaching staff at Market Motive, including Avinash Kaushik, Google analytics evangelist.
Stebbins previewed Market Motive’s 90-day Master Certification course starting this week. If you are not prepared for the masters certification course, Market Motive offers a practitioners certificate course that you pay monthly. It is ongoing throughout the year.
Additional new courses being presented by Market Motive include such topics as paid search, taught by PPC guru and Market Motive faculty member, David Szetela of Clix Marketing.
Finally, Devesh Dodeja of Techndu.com, discussed Techndu’s offerings as a search engine optimization firm based in Oklahoma City. Techndu produces ranking reports, and will increase conversions for any client.
Techndu primarily targets the retail industry ranging from small business to medium sized all the way up to enterprise clients. Techndu handles reputation management, and brand building, among its many offerings.
O’Donnell visited a number of other booths at SES New York 2010. We’ll check out more of them next week.
