SES is collaborating with OMS to hold a one-day event for the experienced marketer on Feb. 10, 2011, that is dedicated to learning advanced topics in Search & Social. Called SES Accelerator, it’s part of the annual Online Marketing Summit, which will be held in San Diego from Feb. 7 to 11, 2011.
The keynote speaker for SES Search & Social Accelerator will be Mikel Chertudi, Vice President of Online & Demand Marketing at Adobe and a member of the SES Advisory Board.
Chertudi oversees global strategy and execution of demand creation for new customer acquisition and cross selling including the tactics of search (both paid and SEO), email, newsletters, display, content syndication, direct and dimensional mail. He’s responsible for authoring best practice guides, webinars, and reports on marketing and technology issues.
Chertudi and his team have deployed a comprehensive marketing technology-based solution for increasing response effectiveness by intertwining search marketing automation, email and direct mail lead nurturing automation, progressive telephony, on-site behavioral targeting, ad serving, A/B and multivariable testing, personalized prospect portals with Web analytics as the anchor technology to deploy a highly-relevant prospect and customer experience.
Bryan Eisenberg interviewed Chertudi at SES Chicago 2010 on best practices for marketing attribution.
About 19 conference sessions will follow the keynote — and if the speakers aren’t already listed on the Accelerator Agenda that’s because deadline for proposing to speak isn’t until Jan 7, 2011.
Submissions accepted by the SES Program Team will be for speakers who can cover advanced topics only. SES Accelerator is programmed by leading industry practitioners and SES Advisory Board members Lee Odden, Andrew Goodman, and Bill Hunt.
According to the SES Blog, the team is looking for solo presentations with in-depth information and actionable advice. And “priority will be given to active practitioners on the client side and those providing hands-on consultancy and implementation.”
I should disclose that SES is a client of my agency. But, learning how to execute on the best practices in Search & Social — in San Diego during February — still sounds pretty good to a snowbird like me.
