You'll have to turn to products like Norton Security or the tool I use and much prefer, ZoneAlarm. Foil Search Engine Snoops" is a nice guide to protecting your search privacy, but it doesn't really go far enough.
But why not add in something like ZoneAlarm, which I love and can do what Ad-Aware and Norton can, if you step up to the pro version. It pulls together popular Google software applications along with those from other providers.
Look, I run ZoneAlarm Pro with highest sensitivity and all advanced options enabled (including popup blocking). Upset about Google AutoLink, the new Google Toolbar feature that adds links to web pages that it feels are appropriate?
