Google's proposed acquisition of Motorola Mobility could soon be approved by the U.S. A mark of approval from the DOJ would be a welcome step forward for Google in its quest to acquire Motorola's handset business.
However, Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha indicated that "that it could be problematic for Motorola Mobility to continue as a stand-alone entity if it sold a large portion of its patent portfolio," according to the SEC filing.
