Last year, Custom Search Engine customers told Google, "Pimp my custom search engine" ride. So Google got busy. Nine months after the Custom Search Engine launch, Custom Search Business Edition was born.
The edgy campaign was created by the Ask marketing team and ad agency Crispin Porter + Bogusky, best known for its "Subservient Chicken" campaign for Burger King, and its recent "Un-pimp Your Ride" ads for Volkswagen.
The award - a spotlight similar to last year's designed by West Coast Custom (of Pimp My Ride fame) - comes with a party at the winning agency and some joint advertising with Yahoo. So amid the restructuring Yahoo!
