Olympic Viewers Turn to Facebook During Games
Vancouver 2010 has people tuning into the tube and updating their networks at the same time.
Nielsen has released data demonstrating the simultaneous TV/Internet habits during the Winter Olympics. So far, Facebook takes the cake. I’m guessing that if Olympic viewers are anything like me – they like to take to the social network to talk about Shaun White’s awesome Victory Lap, Apolo Anton Ohno’s record setting medal accumulation or USA’s big win over Canada in hockey.
Google came in second with Yahoo! following closely in third.
