Korea: Students Hop Aboard the Google Bus
Google wants a bigger piece of the Korean search market. So, in an effort to get more Koreans using Google, they’re travelling to several universities aboard the two-story Google Bus.
At Korea University yesterday, Google began a bus tour in which students can climb into the two-story vehicle and try out Google’s desktop search engine and receive Gmail accounts, which have 2 gigabytes of storage. The bus will visit major university campuses in Seoul and the COEX Mall over the next three weeks.
The article mentions that Google artist, Dennis Hwang, was riding the bus yesterday.
Speaking of Google wanting more of the Asian search market, last month Danny blogged about Google hiring an ad agency in Japan to help promote Google News.
