Today's interactive Google Doodle featuring the famous words "DON'T PANIC" (in large, friendly letters on the cover) is in tribute to "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and author Douglas Adams, who was born on this date in 1952.
When people get worked up about drops in traffic or the potential effects of some vapor algorithm change that someone’s inferred based on a Matt Cutts tweet about his cat, don’t panic (Douglas Adams did write for Doctor Who back in the ’70s).
So, of course, I immediately went for the big Douglas Adams question and found it comforting to still know “the answer to life, the universe and everything” is still 42.for now. Welcome to a brave new world.again.
