Click Forensics reported yesterday that the overall industry average click fraud rate rose to 22.3 percent, up from 18.6 percent in Q2 2010. The reported click fraud rate for Q32009 was 14.1 percent.
Overall, the click-through-rate (CTR) was down 40% since Q4 2008. However, click volume was a different story. Google's click volume grew by 38% and Bing grew by 7%. s click volume dropped. Google's share rose to 74.5%, up from 73.9% in Q32009.
