Info comes from mining specialty databases like Who2.com, AllMusic.com and other sources. One of the "Smart Search" tools that Ask Jeeves offers (its been around for about a year) is called Famous People Search.
Discographies come from AllMusic.com, and filmographies are provided by the Internet Movie Database. Ask Jeeves has expanded its Smart Search feature, adding "direct answers" with biographical information about famous people.
