Search Advertising: Strong Growth Ahead
After a dry spell of several years, online advertising rebounded sharply in 2004, with paid search ads leading the way with a 34% increase in growth. Jupiter Research expects this growth to continue, albeit at a slower pace, through the end of the decade, with paid search solidifying its dominant role.
Today’s SearchDay article, Online Ads & Search: Looking Back, Looking Forward, covers a recent Search Engine Strategies conference panel where Jupiter Research shared its findings about the paid search market. The longer article also details eight “things to pay attention to” that Jupiter Research believes will be crucial for successful search marketing campaigns in 2005.
