SEOLink Condom: The Nofollow Parody

Link Condom: The Nofollow Parody

While debate over the usefulness of the new nofollow link attributes continues, a parody site called Link Condom has just gone up
to stress some of the issues beyond blogging that the attribute raises.

Will people use it to link freely to “bad neighborhoods?” Will it be used to promise a reciprocal link but not really provide one with search engine credit? Will people use
it to “hoard” PageRank?

Different issues — but with all of them, nofollow becomes a way to link to others without actually touching them from a search engine perspective. In other words, nofollow
works as a link condom — the name of the new site from Todd “Oilman” Freisen.
