The educational show features segments, some educational, some merely entertaining. In between segments, the show features "mouse spots," which are hand-drawn animated shorts featuring the mouse and typically his friends who include a duck and a blue elephant.

Much like Sesame Street in the U. S., the show's theme music is recognized throughout the country. The show has also received numerous awards over the years from both the TV and educational communities.
