Google Doodle Celebrates William & Kate's Royal Wedding

In honor of the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Catherine "Kate" Middleton, Google has posted a special logo in select countries today, including the UK, U.S., Canada, and Australia. The logo features the London procession route, red, white, and blue confetti, and the horse-drawn royal wedding carriage.

The celebration also has carried over onto Google Maps. Maps mascot Pegman, dressed in a tux, has been joined by a Pegwoman in a wedding gown.

Google Maps has a special pegman for the royal wedding. The pegman is a bride and a groom, aka Prince William of Wales and Catherine (Kate) Middleton, as the pegman.

youtube-royal-wedding.pngGoogle expected 400 million viewers of the Royal Wedding YouTube live stream that began at 5 a.m. ET. The live stream seems to have gone smoothly, according to reports. YouTube also posted its own wedding cake logo.

YouTube is also currently highlighting videos of The Archbishop of Canterbury, people camping out in London, and the 1923 royal wedding.
