Depot Sues Staples Over Ads Placed on Google (paid sub. required) from the
Wall Street Journal covers Office Depot filing suit earlier this month in US
District Court in Palm Beach, Florida accusing Staples of trademark
infringement, false advertising, unfair competition and deceptive trade
practices over ads linked to words that are also Office Depot trademarks.
Staples apparently had ads coming up for searches on [viking], which is an
Office Depot subsidiary. Ads led to Staples-owned web sites.
