The elves at Microsoft has given us a couple of stocking-suffers in time for the holidays.
First, Bing has launched an ads sweepstakes. According to Jason R. Dailey, Director, Bing Evangelism at Microsoft Advertising, “We just launched the Bing Ads Sweepstakes is to help us grow our community, get the Bing Ads and Yahoo Bing Network brands in front of the industry in a fun way.”
Small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) have the chance to win up to $3,000 in Bing Ads credits. There are also two second prizes of $1,000 in Bing Ads credits. The sweepstakes will be promoted in a number of channels, including: Facebook, Twitter, online ads, blogs, and newsletters.
No purchase is necessary – and a purchase of any kind won't increase your chances of winning. The sweepstakes is open to residents of the United States who are at least 18 years old. The sweepstakes ends Dec. 31, 2012. Check the official rules for more details.
Second, the Internet Explorer team at Microsoft has just launched Do you know this guy? | Internet Explorer.
They have also created The browser you loved to hate. Who knew the folks at Microsoft had a self-deprecating sense of humor.
