With only a week until SES New York, Linkdex have organized a fun little competition which gives you a chance to animate your “clients from hell” type stories from everyday life in the online marketing industry.
Enter the competition for the chance to win a Platinum Pass to SES NY and the new iPad. And if you can’t make it to SES New York, you can still win! Linkdex are also giving away $250 for any script they choose to animate.
All you have to do is draft a script and send it to Linkdex. And they’ll animate it for you! Think of it like writing a script for Xtranormal, but with professional animators in charge of your mini-movie. Cool huh?

We all know a character like ‘Zeus’ whose approach to SEO isn’t always right. Have you seen any other such characters in the world of SEO?
What’s the worst advice an online marketer has ever given you? Can you recall the conversation with that client from hell? Is there anyone you have been working with who is most resistant to the good advice you give them? Who spouts the most feeble objections?
Those stories are all likely to be good candidates for #seofilms competition. And remember, it’s a cartoon so you can make references to real characters or have them be anonymous. If you are looking for further inspiration, you could go even further to include completely fantastical scenarios or use characters from your favorite movie.
