Bing Senior Vice President of Online Audience Business, Yusuf Mehdi, to Deliver Keynote at SES New York 2010

Yusuf Mehdi, Senior Vice President of the Online Audience Business at
Microsoft’s Bing, is a delivering keynote address at Search Engine Strategies
(SES) New York 2010
. Mehdi, a Microsoft employee since 1992, is currently responsible
for global product management, strategic partnerships, and business development
for Bing and MSN. Previously, Mehdi led a 1,800 person research team to develop
Microsoft’s initial web search platform, Microsoft adCenter.

SES New York, the industry’s largest search engine marketing
(SEM) conference, is being held at the New York Hilton, March 22- 26, 2010. It will
attract more than 5,000 marketers who come to learn about the latest trends and
issues and see the newest search products. The conference offers presentations,
panels and networking events for marketing professionals working in mainstream
marketing and the search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC)
arenas. Marketers can

About Yusuf Mehdi

As senior vice president of the Online Audience Business, Mehdi has
revenue and market share responsibility for the Bing and MSN businesses at
Microsoft. His team leads global product management, strategic partnerships,
business development and U.S marketing execution.

Before his current role, Mehdi served as Microsoft’s chief advertising
strategist and senior vice president of Strategic Partnerships. He negotiated a
number of strategic agreements, including the $6 billion purchase of aQuantive,
Inc. Previously, Mehdi led research and development for the Information
Services division during which time he led a 1,800-person engineering team to
develop and launch Microsoft’s initial web search platform and next generation
advertising platform in Microsoft adCenter.

Prior, Mehdi began his career at Microsoft in 1992, playing key roles in
the launch and marketing of Microsoft Windows, including the notable releases of
Windows 3.1 and Windows 95. He was responsible for the marketing of Microsoft
Internet Explorer versions 1.0 through 5.0, and under his direction.

Before joining Microsoft in 1992, Mehdi was a product manager at Reuters
Group PLC, where he helped roll out the first PC-based Reuters Terminal, which
became the standard computing platform for the company.
