New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco are home to the most open SEO positions, according to Onward Search infographic SEO Salary Guide for the Top 20 U.S. Markets. Using job posting data collected from SimplyHired.com, they put together a list of the cities with the most opportunity for SEO professionals at the time of publication.
A second section displays a breakdown of the different types of SEO jobs listed throughout 2011 on the Onward Search Recruitics platform. SEO manager positions were listed most often, with 27 percent of all postings seeking this type of SEO pro. SEO analysts/specialists and SEO/SM directors were second and third in demand, at 25 and 21 percent, respectively.
Finally, the visual shows average salaries for SEO jobs in the top 20 cities listed above, with a range from the 25th to 75th percentile. The salary data was collected from Indeed.com.
