Enterprise SEM/SEO software providers Covario and Kenshoo have formed a strategic alliance that will see Covario licensing Kenshoo Enterprise and Kenshoo Social. In addition, the two have agreed to partner in the development of a paid and organic search solution for digital marketers.
In describing the terms of their licensing agreement, Covario said they will, “utilize Kenshoo’s digital marketing software to enable scalable online media buying and optimization on behalf of several global enterprise clients for both paid search and paid social advertising.”
The second part of the arrangement, a search solution for global digital marketers, leverages SEO technologies Covario Organic Search Insight and Covario Organic Search Optimizer with Kenshoo’s Enterprise, Local, and Social campaign management products.
Both parties are looking to projected growth in paid search spending, particularly in social network advertising, and aligning their strengths to offer a single solution for SEO and paid search integration. They will develop a prototype in the coming months.
“The Covario-Kenshoo solution will allow search marketers to drive improvements in the performance of both their paid and organic search programs through integrated analytics,” said Russ Mann, chief executive officer of Covario. “This partnership will have a turbo-charging effect not only on our agency services, but also in support of the joint clients we serve and the industry as a whole as our mutual technologies and strategies are optimized.”
Kenshoo Enterprise 4.0 Adds Campaign Wizards and Visuals
The recently released 4.0 upgrade to their enterprise and agency level search engine marketing campaign management product offers new features including:
- Campaign wizards to quickly set up new accounts
- Reporting enhancements to display metrics in a grid for holistic analysis
- A proprietary visual indicator of the health of the campaign as a whole

The product is anchored by the Kenshoo Universal Platform, which accommodates proprietary internal systems in addition to data from third-party providers. It provides automation, business intelligence, integration and scale; almost 50 different data sources are integrated with the platform to date, including web analytics, commerce platforms, and ad servers.
