SES San Francisco at ClickZ's Connected Marketing Week 2011

The SES San Francisco early bird discount ends today. If you haven't yet registered for the leading search and social event on the West Coast, three full days of SEO, PPC, social media, analytics, networking and much more, now's the time to do it.

SES San Francisco 2011 logoThe early bird discount for SES San Francisco closes today. If you haven’t already registered for the leading search and social event on the West Coast this year, now’s the time to do it.

This is the second year for Connected Marketing Week in San Francisco which is warmly welcomed back by Ed Lee, San Francisco’s new mayor. Last year was a huge success, and this year promises to be even bigger and better.

Thousands of online marketers will be gathering for what is effectively a marketing festival. One whole week of training, education, and networking. And at the core of it all, the grand old daddy of search marketing events, SES.

SES is so much more than a search marketing event these days. It’s still the leading event to get the most up to date knowledge about SEO, paid search, and analytics. But it has expanded and broadened out content to include all aspects of social media, ad networks and exchanges – even email marketing.

The SES team has worked really hard on developing a new structure for the agenda and getting just the right mix of content. If you’re new to the game, then the “Kick Start” track has been developed just for you. A full day of tutorials to bring you right up to speed.

For those who have been in the business for three to five years, then the “Accelerator” track is the place for you to hang out. These sessions are programmed and presented by leading practitioners in the space so it’s straight down to the nuts and bolts.

The SES Advisory Board is comprised of top names in the industry and each of them has adopted a session specifically for the San Francisco show. This means they are responsible for developing the content for the session and choosing the speakers.

On day one, Andrew Goodman presents Analytics For PPC, while Jon Myers hosts Crossing The Digital Divide: The Leap From Search To Display.

Day two is packed with advisory board speakers starting with Matt Bailey hosting WordPress: Power To The People. Next is Crispin Sheridan with Bringing SEO In-House: The Pros And Cons and same day also has Bryan Eisenberg‘s session Landing Page Optimization. Mikel Chertudi has pulled together Advanced Paid Search Tactics, Aaron Kahlow brings us Social Media Matrics and Anne Kennedy has a featured roundtable discussion on Global Search Marketing Best Practices.

Day three is just as busy for advisory board members. Lee Odden dons a Search Engine Watch lab coat for his Social SEO session and Mikel Chertudi returns for another special session Channel Surfing: Measuring Profit & ROI Across Channels, while Bill Hunt leads Enterprise Level SEO. And that’s just a small sample of the 70+ sessions and more than 100 speakers at the SES conference alone.

Education is the byword at SES. Along with sister brands ClickZ and Search Engine Watch, SES has been helping marketers to do their jobs better for 14 years now.

But another vibrant element of SES is networking. SES is packed with opportunities to meet your peers (thousands of them) to share marketing experience and knowledge and have great fun at the same time. This year we’ve developed something entirely new to provide an opportunity to meet with all of our exhibitors and sponsors and, at the same time, mix and swap business cards with each other at “SpeedConnect”.

A conference badge is a conference badge… Or is it? Wait ‘til you see the all new SES InfoBadge when you get there!

But the brightest addition to your conference planning experience is the shiny new SES app available for iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, and mobile if you don’t have a smartphone. The mobile app has all the information needed for attendees to connect with each other, find out what companies are exhibiting, determine which speakers they don’t want to miss, and decide which special events to attend.

Exhibitors can be found alphabetically or by category. Events are similarly broken down – a user can search all events or by a specific track.

One of the most convenient features of the app is the “My Schedule” feature. Users can scan the agenda and all the events and, when they find something they want to attend, tap the add-to-schedule star and it automatically gets entered in My Schedule. Why not download it right now?

But that’s not the only bright and shiny thing at SES San Francisco: Our opening keynote speaker is Susan Bratton, co-founder and CEO of Personal Life Media Inc., a lifestyle brand focused on personal and professional growth programs. As publisher of 20+ direct-to-consumer online information products, her titles include downloadable eBooks, membership sites, home study courses, and other “eBooks with benefits.”

A true industry pioneer and highly regarded digital marketing entrepreneur, Bratton sits on the boards of a number of technology companies. She is a founder of two industry associations, the IAB – Internet Advertising Bureau and the ADM – Association of Downloadable Media and SFBIG, the Bay Area Interactive Group. She is the Chair Emeritus of the ad:tech conferences and continues to be a sought-after speaker, presenting and keynoting over 50 events around the world. We’re delighted to have her as official opener of Connected Marketing Week 2011

SES San Francisco really is three full days of SEO, PPC, social media, search & display and analytics combined with partner programs from Online Marketing Summit, Mobile Marketing Association, Social Media Club, Email Marketing Forum, IAB and Search Congress. All-in-all, this is a must attend, packed week of marketing education and networking.

Register right now while the early bird rate is still available and join the Search Engine Watch and ClickZ crew, along with thousands of your friends, colleagues, and peers, at the biggest search and social marketing conference on the West Coast.

See you there!
