LLRX's mission is to provide legal and library professionals with the most up-to-date information on a wide range of Internet research and technology-related issues, applications, resources and tools. Though aimed primarily at legal professionals, the site offers tons of first-rate information that's useful to anybody who spends a lot of time searching the web.
The new Search Engine Resource Center offers links to LLRX's latest content, such as Kathy Biehl's article on Surfwax Legal Researcher, and Tara Calishain's series on clustering with search engines. Articles published on the site are well-researched and authoritative, though written in a style that's accessible and easy to understand.
The news section of the page offers annotated links to recent stories covering both search technology and issues involving technology and online research.
The Search Engine Resource Center is a new addition to a number of other "resource centers" available on the site, with a wide range of useful information and links for online researchers.
LLRX is edited by Sabrina I. Pacifici and Cindy L. Chick (law librarians with 46 years of collective experience), and has been in operation since 1996. In addition to the content published on the site, several free newsletters are available, including the indispensable LLRXBuzz, edited by the indefatigable Tara Calishain.
