Ask Jeeves Announces Completion of Convertible Note Offering
Ask Jeeves, Inc. announced today that it closed its sale of $100 million aggregate principal amount of Zero Coupon Convertible Subordinated Notes due June 1, 2008.

LookSmart and Inktomi Renew Multi-Year Agreement to Distribute LookListings
Under terms of the multi-year agreement, LookSmart will continue to provide paid search listings from their LookListings program to Inktomi’s search index via Inktomi’s IndexConnect Reseller program.

Google and Lycos Europe today announced an agreement whereby Google will provide relevant content-targeted ads to the member pages of Europe’s largest homepage building community, Lycos Tripod.

Espotting Inks Geo-Targeted Pan-European Deal
Espotting Unveils New Search Partners
Espotting has signed a pan-European, geo-targeted deal with Mamma.com. Mamma.com has deployed technology to geographically segment its users and has chosen Espotting to provide results for its European user-base. A separate deal with European portal Euroseek will see a pan-European full implementation, consisting of all search results, and targeted content across all channels and directories.

Espotting announces plans to merge with FindWhat.com
Espotting announced today an agreement to merge with FindWhat.com. At FindWhat.com’s closing share price on June 17, 2003, the transaction values Espotting at $163 million (#97 million / Euro 138 million).

Fast Acquires AltaVista Enterprise Search Business
Fast Search & Transfer today announced the acquisition of the AltaVista enterprise search business, including more than two hundred customers, from Overture Services, Inc. for an undisclosed cash amount.
