Overture Services, Inc. today announced that it has completed the acquisition of the Web search unit of Fast Search & Transfer. Overture acquired FAST's Web search unit for $70 million in cash. The transaction provides for a performance-based cash incentive payment of up to an additional $30 million over three years.
Overture Launches in South Korea
Overture Services, Inc. today announced that it has launched its Pay-For-Performance search service in South Korea. At launch, Overture will reach 92 percent of South Korea's Internet users, making it the largest paid search network in that market.

Overture Completes Acquisition Of AltaVista Business
Overture Services, Inc. today announced that it has completed the acquisition of the business of AltaVista Company. Overture acquired the AltaVista business for $106.6 million ($60 million in cash and approximately 4.275 million shares of Overture common stock, with a value of $46.6 million based on the closing share price on April 25, 2003).
