Gone For The Holidays
We’ll be on a fairly light schedule over the coming week, given the holidays coming up. I’ll personally be gone tomorrow, Monday and then the following Thursday and
Friday. So just a quick note to anyone trying to get in touch next week — unless it’s really urgent, catch me after the New Year and keep your message from getting lost
in the backlog. This New York Times article,
E-Mail Doesn’t Take a Holiday,
crystallizes the type of situation I find myself always returning to if I take a few days off, snowed under by messages. Personally, I think we should all declare at
least one week of the year to be a search holiday — no news, no acquisitions, no releases, no nothing for a solid week. Now that’s what I want under my tree for
Christmas. Happy Holidays to you all!
