If Google's full of smart people, product manager Marissa Mayer's one of the smartest there. She gave a talk at PARC on the user experience at Google. Nathan from InsideGoogle pointed out a nice write-up of this: An Evening With Google's Marissa Mayer.

She covers ground that will be familiar to many SES conference attendees and SearchDay readers on how the Google home page is sparse because Sergey Brin didn't know HTML well or how while no one uses the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button, no one wants it removed either.
